GreatWomenSpeakers is a division of VOICES, INC. in Portland OR. Founded by Francine B. Read in 1993, VOICES, INC. produces the VOICES Contemporary Lecture Series in Portland, Oregon. The VOICES Contemporary Lecture Series, a cornerstone for featuring women speakers in the Northwest, has worked with Linda Ellerbee, Geri Jewell, Cicely Tyson, Jehan Sadat, Dr. Helen Fisher, Faye Wattleton, Molly Ivins, Ellen Goodman, Leslie Abramson, Honorable Ann Richards, Kathy Buckley, Lesley Stahl, Geraldine Ferraro, Liz Carpenter, Patricia Schroeder, Terry Gross, Isabel Allende, Lynn Sherr, Beverly Sills, Liz Curtis Higgs, Jane Alexander, Gloria Steinem, Susan Stamberg, Gail Sheehy, and Eleanor Clift with Bay Buchanan.
